The Feeling of Jazz

One of the many lesser played Ellington statements. Int it, Ellington conveys his view of this great American music and what it means to him within his lifetime. My "feeling" of jazz shares his view, but nonetheless is different as it explores what it means to me in my lifetime. I also pay my respects to John Coltrane, who joins Ellington on my favorite recording of this song, by using the classic Giant Steps changes.
